Best Size for Frame TV Art
For a modern 4K Frame-style television, start with 3840 × 2160 pixels in a 16:9 landscape composition.
Use 3840 × 2160 for 4K
This resolution matches a 4K UHD screen pixel for pixel and preserves a 16:9 aspect ratio. Samsung also recommends 4K resolution or higher for personal photos on The Frame.
Do not stretch portrait artwork
A portrait print and a television use very different proportions. Cropping can work when the original composition has enough space, but stretching changes the artwork and should be avoided.
Leave room for a digital matte
If you plan to use a matte, keep faces, text and important objects away from the edge. Preview both full-screen and matted layouts before saving.
