How to Display Art on a Smart TV
Start with the feature your television already supports and use a correctly sized 4K image.
Choose the display route
A native gallery or ambient mode is usually simplest. USB photo playback and connected streaming-device screensavers are alternatives when the television does not store personal images.
Avoid distortion
Use 16:9 artwork and select fit or fill carefully. Never stretch an image to hide borders; choose a compatible crop instead.
Create a room-friendly result
Reduce brightness, use a warm color tone and set a sleep timer. The goal is a quiet display that belongs in the room, not a paused television image.
